Hot Glass Hawaii, located on the Big Island offers Make Your Own Glass Experience classes on Fridays and Sundays. Each group will experience a demonstration on the glass making process and each participant will have the option to make either a glass paperweight, a pulled glass flower, a small glass dish or one of our seasonal offerings, when applicable. Class sizes are currently limited to 6 people at a time, however feel free to contact us if you have a group larger than 6 and we will schedule you in.

Can I take my glass piece home with me the same day I make it?

Once you finish making your glass piece it will require 14-24 hours to cool down in the annealer and will be available for pick up on the next scheduled day that we are open, which are Friday’s and Sunday’s. The earliest you can pick up your glass is 2 days after your class. So if you come in for a class on a Friday, the earliest you can pick up your work would be the following Sunday. If you come in for a class on a Sunday, the earliest you can pick up your work would be the following Tuesday. If you are visiting and can’t make it back to the studio we will ship your pieces for you for an additional price.
